Are you an enthusiastic keen bean and love working with kids? Are you passionate about social impact and would love to be involved hands-on in community projects? We would love for you to join us and lead the workshops we deliver to secondary schools! You’ll be running workshops on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and working with high school children to come up with fantastic ideas to benefit their local communities, AND get to help build on the project until it’s complete!
Not only is it great experience for public speaking, crowd control, critical thinking and problems solving, you’ll also get to go on suburban road-trips with us and really interact and engage with the greater community!
CHARITEACH (UNI SUBJECTS) VOLUNTEER TUTOR
Passionate about education equality? Want to pass on your wisdom to younger university students and make meaningful connections with those in your course? We’re currently looking for volunteer tutors to join our pilot program, Chariteach (ha, love the pun?), which is a gold coin donation tutoring program at the University of Melbourne.
We run fortnightly collaborative review sessions, going through difficult questions and concepts, and providing space for discussion for subjects without tutorials. For more information check out our Chariteach page! If you achieved H1 in a University of Melbourne subject in 2019, we’d love for you to join our tutoring team on campus!
